Can I run multiple yards on one account?
Section titled “Can I run multiple yards on one account?”Each yard gets its own subdomain (yard1.skipdrop.co.za, yard2.skipdrop.co.za)
and its own login. For now they’re separate. Enterprise customers get a
cross-yard view — get in touch if you need this.
Do you take a cut of my customer payments?
Section titled “Do you take a cut of my customer payments?”No. PayFast charges its standard per-transaction fee directly — SkipDrop only charges your monthly subscription.
Is my data backed up?
Section titled “Is my data backed up?”Yes — Supabase Postgres backups every 6 hours, retained for 30 days. You can also export everything to CSV at any time under Reports.
Can I use my own domain (e.g. bookings.myyard.co.za)?
Section titled “Can I use my own domain (e.g. bookings.myyard.co.za)?”Not yet. On the roadmap. For now you’re on yardname.skipdrop.co.za.
Does SkipDrop work on iPhones?
Section titled “Does SkipDrop work on iPhones?”Yes — works on any phone with a recent browser (Safari 16+, Chrome 100+). No app to install. You can add it to your home screen for one-tap launch.
Can drivers work offline?
Section titled “Can drivers work offline?”Drivers can tap through job states offline, and updates sync when signal returns. Photos and weighbridge tickets need signal to upload. SkipDrop holds them in the phone’s storage and pushes them when back online.
Can I import my existing customer list?
Section titled “Can I import my existing customer list?”Yes — CSV import under Customers → Import. Headers expected:
name, cell, email, address. Email and address can be blank.
Does SkipDrop integrate with my accounting software?
Section titled “Does SkipDrop integrate with my accounting software?”Pro+ exports SARS-friendly CSV. Direct Xero/Sage integrations are on the roadmap. Enterprise customers can use the API.
How do I delete a customer’s data (POPIA request)?
Section titled “How do I delete a customer’s data (POPIA request)?”Open the customer → More → Anonymise. Invoices and jobs stay (required for SARS), but the name, cell, and email are scrubbed. Required POPIA-compliant flow.
Can I trial Pro features on the free plan?
Section titled “Can I trial Pro features on the free plan?”You already are — the 14-day free trial unlocks every Pro feature so you can decide what you’d pay for. After day 14 you pick a tier.
