First-time setup

When you first log in, SkipDrop shows you a setup checklist. You can come back to it any time from the dashboard. Work through it in this order — each step unlocks the next.

  1. Tell us about your yard. Address, contact number, logo, working hours. This is what customers see on your booking page and invoices.

  2. Add your skips. What sizes do you have, and how many of each? (e.g. 3 × 6m, 2 × 11m).

  3. Add a vehicle and a driver. Even if it is just you for now — you are both the driver and the operator.

  4. Set your dump zones. Where do skips go to be emptied? Add your usual landfill or recycler, plus the per-tonne cost.

  5. (Optional) Switch on online payments. Take card / EFT through PayFast. This is a Pro feature.
